Liver and kidney organ chip system for drug safety evaluation study

The liver and kidney organ chip system is used to simulate the metabolism and excretion of drugs in the human body to evaluate the toxicity and side effects of drugs on the liver and kidney. The liver-and-kidney organ chip system is an in vitro model that uses microfluidic technology to culture humanized hepatocytes and renal cells in microbioreactors, connected by microfluidic channels, to mimic the physiological environment and function in the human body. Using this system, the metabolites, biomarkers, cellular activity and inflammatory response in the liver and kidney can be monitored in real time, so as to predict the safety and effectiveness of the drug on the human body. Based on the liver-and-kidney organ chip system, the drug toxicity evaluation platform of the anticancer drug cetuximab was evaluated by surface-modified polyethylene glycol. Using the liver and kidney organ chip system to simulate the drug response in different disease states, to evaluate the adaptive and individualized treatment effect of drugs to specific patient populations. Liver and kidney organ chip system can change the cell type, number, proportion, gene expression to simulate different disease models, such as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, acute kidney injury, multiple myeloma, etc., and observe the drugs in different models of metabolic dynamics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacology characteristics, to provide the basis for the drug individualized treatment. The therapeutic evaluation of cancer cells in serum samples of multiple myeloma patients through surface polyethylene glycol modification through an individualized treatment platform based on liver and kidney organ chip system.
