Hyaluronic acid-poly (propylene sulfide) polymer (HA-PPS) and developed ROS cleared nanoparticles (HPN) that can effectively clear ROS. To achieve colonic tissue targeting effects, HPN nanoparticles were conjugated to the surface of the modified Probiotic bacterium Nissle 1917 (EcN). To enhance the bacterial treatment of EcN, we wrapped EcN cells in multiple noradrenaline (NE) layers to protect EcN from environmental attack, to improve the viability of EcN during oral delivery, and to extend the retention time of EcN in the intestine due to its strong adhesion ability.
